I've been using Square for a couple of years. I've been tempted to switch to Costco's Elavon, or Stripe, or Stax, or any of the other options -but I'm familiar with Square and always decided to just pay the slightly higher cost. But their customer service is so horrible that it seems like it's time to switch. ... So shopping my options now - cannot recommend Square.
