I used Square for our 2-day convention. It wasn’t until I got home and wasn’t getting the amount transferred that I started looking into this and had a chat with one of your representatives. As it turns out, they were entered as cash transactions, which I had no idea even existed, and I don’t even understand why you would even have cash transactions when Square is used to take credit or debit cards. Most of the people did not want a receipt, so I have no names or numbers attached to it to contact them. On top of that, once I realized all this from the chat about this, they said the Cash button is at the top of the list. Why would you have cash at the top of the list for someone who’s taking credit cards? Further, when talking or chatting with the representative, I asked if I could print off the chat we were having or how I could print it off and was told that there is no way to do that. I asked to speak to her superior, and I was denied that request. So, yes, I am livid with Square right now with over $1000 that our association has lost because of this.
