The product itself meets our needs okay and works fine until an issue arises. Customer service is practically non-existent. 1. Called for service, Had much difficulty understanding tech strong accent. Was told I absolutely nothing could be done about it because I was not the owner. Our church has used Square for so long, most likely the “owner” is long gone. 2. Stayed on hold for very long time waiting for manager who very politely said nothing could be done because I am not the owner. At least he was patient enough to try variations of email addresses. According to him, Square did not even have an account with our church’s name!3. Interestingly, after I hung up saw that I received the daily summary of our transactions in the inbox of the addresses he said did not exist . 4. Received email from the “manager” stating to contact him “directly”, but he gave no indication as to how. 5. Tried responding to his email, but apparently it is automatically assigned a case # then who knows where. I now have 3 different case numbers!6. As a church, our entire existence depends on donations from members. So! For two days, going on 3, we are receiving no increase same no help from Square.
