All of the 5-star rating have a check mark next to it that says “INVITED” which shows clearly that Square is either paying people to write 5-star reviews or writing the reviews themselves. Which shows even more how much of a fraud they are.I legally set up my business on square, received my business debit card and reloaded $130 cash on the card to get my business started. My first TWO transactions were small payments from two customers.Immediately, square suspended my account on the very first day I used my account for processing payments. Stating that they needed customer information such as email address and home address. I did not think I would need to collect all of my customer’s demographic just to process a small payment in-person. I can understand invoice payments that are online or so forth. But this was outrageous.They stole my money and never gave it back to me. I genuinely believe that Square makes money from collecting payments and suspending accounts. They gained at least $130 in cash regardless if they refunded the customers small payments and on top of that they collect your data and the customer’s data. I believe this company is in the business of getting paid to collect data not help businesses. I recommend clover or stripe or even PayPal.This company is fraud.
