Squares customer service is VERY poor. We have been battling with rolling reserves as have many other businesses with square. One they continuously add options to there call menu, making it harder each time to reach the department you need. Then if the issue is not resolved, they give you a timeframe for someone to reach back out to you and it doesn’t happen. IE we asked to have our account reviewed, it was due in march, but we had to call multiple different days to get them to send their questionnaire (which btw is an inadvertent way of getting you to pay for MORE of their offered services) And after completing it and being promised a notification of the outcome, we have to follow up again and again. Simply, they make it easy at first, then hold YOUR money, then make it impossible to dispute. They say it’s for the security of the consumer, but it’s really security for their interests.
