Square takes so many forms of payment, which I love. It deposits money timely. The fees are fair. The contactless chip reader with stand is great! The reports are almost perfect for my needs. However, after about 6 months of using Square, I started having connectivity issues with my card reader. It constantly disconnects and the only way I've found to reconnect it is to close and reopen the app. I've also had issues with it Square not staying connected, which switches over to offline payments which is risky, so I monitor my transactions closely. I also tried calling Square about the reader disconnecting a few months ago and wasn't able to call, only chat, so what would have been a 10 minute phone call turned into a 45 minute chat. I was disappointed in that. So with those issues I knocked one star off. I'm sure Square is better than most, so as of now, I'm staying with them unless someone can really beat the rates and offer phone customer service 24/7.
