Short version of my experience:Persons Unknown were able to compromise my funds by stealing my identity from the dark web (data breech was from former employer or one of several other sources) and creating a new Square account associated with my business account.What Square could have done better was to not allow an account to be associated with an existing business account without checking with the owner of said account! No one tried to explain to me how that happened when I asked.Customer Service Staff on the phone was unable to help and acted as if I was inventing this all and did not get 'the right department' to call me back so I contacted them again by email after a week of silence and got a quick reply and lots of help, including getting my confiscated money back.Square was able to provide me with enough data to file an identity theft report with the FTC and once that was done they were able to restore the funds I had lost.It would have been 1 star if this was not resolved and 5 if the problem never happened, so I compromised with 3. The rep I emailed with to resolve this was very helpful, but I would have preferred to be able to talk to her instead of being restricted to email.
