Square customer service support is the worst I’ve encountered; expect to be transferred multiple times to different departments and to hear the reps repeatedly read from scripts that say they understand you. And expect promises but no resolution nor follow up. They had multiple system outages and issues during the week leading up to Mother’s Day that prevented customers from ordering online. And neither announcement nor support during that time. Square introduced system changes with incorrect data mapping on their reports, reported by users, and months later still not fixed with no fix date. Data error is being considered a feature by their product support team. I was offered no fees on $1000 of sales for my troubles, the equivalent of about $30. Insulting to say the least. I plan to change platforms. EDIT; Square’s reply here is a perfect example of their poor support: They use script phrases, clearly didn’t read the review, and continue to promote their inadequate support! Plus they don’t acknowledge or announce system issues!
