When researching what to use for my new business i saw a lot of negative feedback when it came to Square but decided to give it a try based on positive feedback from those i personally knew using it. It has been over a year and i have never had any type of issue. If i have a question, they are very easy to get in touch with. Money transfers quickly and has never been held. Not sure why there is so much negative feedback unless it is user error. I highly recommend to anyone especially those just starting out as it is very easy to use and affordable. Don't get stuck making monthly payments/renting a system. Just purchase Square outright. No regrets!
