Took a payment over the virtual terminal; received 3/5 of the amount as 2/5 was deducted for "other" charges. Upon inquiry with Square, they stated that I had disputed charges that caused the deduction. My account had somehow been hacked and a bogus email account had somehow been attached to my account.I had to file an identity theft report with FTC, ultimately got my money from Square; I must also add that none of my credit cards or bank accounts have any suspicious charges; this problem was unique to Square, and frankly I am afraid to take payment using Square.
