DONT USE SQURE THEY SUX BIG TIME

I’ve been using square to take customers credit card for yrs now and and I generally transfer the funds to my bank account or use it for small everyday purchases There’s been times I have received a charged back from a customer that just wanted to screw someone and they lie about the situation or the service so thy don’t have to pay and 2 out of 3x I lost the dispute bc the customer service here at square is horrible the worst I’ve ever had to deal with. Ok so now let’s get to the real stuff so I purchase an item of FB or Instagram one of those website anywho. The thing was only $100 and so I used the square card that was my 2nd mistake. The first was buying something from online that’s supposedly coming form a 3rd world country anyways. The seller was a scam the stuff never came. The tracking information wasn’t accurate and moovment of the item throw the fake tracking # wasn’t making any sense. I had emailed the people many times and once in a while the would reply days latter what information I wasn’t asking about and so I said I want a refund they refused them the send me an email saying the item was delivered but the USPS on a Saturday night at 1130 PM. When I contacted them saying that makes no since they send a new email saying the package was actually delivered but a different company 2 days earlier and signed for at my address buy me. So I pulled the surveillance video for that date and time and sent it over saying just give me a refund. They never replied Ok I contacted square and started the dispute 54 days after making the purchase. And they said I would get an email with in 72 hrs asking for more information and I did. I got it Saturday at 4 am. Monday 4am I got another email saying since I didn’t reply to the email yet there going to close the case. So when I saw all this I replied saying please allow me another day or 2 to send over the information and didn’t think much of it. The next day I sent over everything I had a letter explaining everything and the emails back and forth and waiting for a response from square I tried calling in several time since I never got a reply from my emails to them and I started calling finally I was able to talk to someone she asked me to send the inform over to her again and I did I talked to a supervisor and the informed me since it’s more the. 60 days for The Original purchase date i can no longer do the dispute I Was told I asked how that’s possible I started the dispute weeks ago while with kn the 60 days. And I sent all the information over to the supervisor showing I replied to the email they send with in the 60 days and I never got a response I send over copies of everything over and and over again no one at square wanted to step up and help me not a supervisor not a manager not anyone eventually they stopped replying to my emails and taking my calls and that was that. The people I pay thousands of dollars a yr to so I can use there services screwed me worst then the merchant did in the end. So keep this in mind before using the card to purchase anything. I no longer use square for my POS. I use clover and there customer service is way better. And it’s costing me leads I got free card readers and printers all kinds so things for free when square was tri g to charge me.
