I have been a customer with Square for over two years. I had three large invoices that were paid by customers and the money wasn’t being deposited into my account (and still hasn’t). I kept logging in to the dashboard and the deposit date kept changing. I finally called, and was on hold 30 minutes before being connected to an agent who knew nothing, then was transferred to another agent who new something, but not enough and still didn’t resolve it. Next day I called again, another one hour phone call. They said that there was suspicious activity on my account. I went through all the steps with the agent and she said I would have the funds deposited within 24-48 hours. I asked to speak to a supervisor. She placed me on hold and came back and said that the supervisor would not speak to me as there is nothing they can do. The next day I received another email that they still have one more question, seriously? I have given them an alternate number to call through email and to an agent and they keep calling the wrong number. They have caused my account to go into overdraft and my employees payroll has now been returned due to insufficient funds. I just logged in again as now we are outside of their ridiculous business hours and my estimated deposit date has been moved out another day. They don’t realize or care that they could potentially ruin a small business like mine with something like this. This doesn’t even seem legal.
