Paid a contractor through square using my checking account. Square held funds for no explained reason. I have no recorce to get funds back and they say they they cannot talk with me. They say to contact the contractor.Square space responded to my review by asking me to reach out to them through social media? Who does that. I called multiple times to talk to a real person and they wouldn't do it. They said to protect their client, my contractor, they couldn't total to me...even if the contractor was on the phone and consented...Square held the funds for 90 days before releasing to the contractor. They had Uber $13,000 of my money interest free for 90 days and my job was held up until funds were released. Seem unlawful to me...
