STAY AWAY FROM USING SQUARE. THEY WILL BANKRUPT YOUR SMALL BUSINESS.On July 11, 2023 my small business decided to use Square to process out credit card sales. We took our first credit card sale and this is when the nightmare began. Square held onto my funds with reason except to keep saying daily your account is under review and needed more information. They asked me over and over for the same documentation to include uploading my drivers license taking a selfie uploading sales agreement credit card authorization government paperwork showing my business was legal connecting my bank acct uploading bank statements answering 50 questions about the transaction, customers mental health, they make things up as they go along. I sent emails to Square including customer and customer even called them twice after 2 weeks and asked them why they have not paid my co. Square response to customer "its a big sale" Who cares the customer says to Square pay the people" I ended up refunding the customer because Square would not release my funds and in my opinion committing fraud and predatory criminal practices. Who do they think they are and I will pursue criminal charges against them and bring them to justice and hold them accountable. I am open to a class action law suit. Stay away from Square do not use them as they will bankrupt your business. No one is above the law and I will seek justice!
