I did have great customer service once I was put through to an actual human. The process to get there was cumbersome and annoying, and involved a pre-recorded message when I called in during daytime hours. It directed me back to the unhelpful bot, with the call abruptly ending. Otherwise, until their decision to start charging additional fees for debit, I was quite pleased with Square. That decision has led me to find a cheaper payment process company and bonus for me, it’s a Canadian company.
