My previous review managed to get flagged. Square is not really a credit card process that follows the many regulations and rules of the VISA, MasterCard, AMEX and Discover Networks. Disputes are handled in a manner Square (Block) chooses and keeps everything private including the issuing bank of the credit card. Square claims to stand behind its merchants when in fact they do not actually have a dedicated dispute department. Square is not even a financial institution that follows the banking laws and is regulated only by the FDIC and NOT any other government agency like the Office of the Controller of Currency. Merchants are totally powerless when it comes to disputes, that's why I am leaving and pursuing collections of all my lost disputes thanks to Square.
