Square is one of many credit card processing tools that I have been forced to use because the app or site that I am using has a partnership. Weebly has been purchased by Square and, since this happened, has been more and more expensive to use. Most recently, Square has decided to pass on more expenses to the small business owner by establishing that "Processing fees will no longer be refunded to your account when you issue full or partial refunds to your customers." The next statement says something like, "this will have no impact on your customers." Yea, but now I will lose money when I refund them because Square is going to charge me for the processing fee.I'm sure there's more of this from greedy companies, like Square, who will continue to make it difficult for small businesses like mine to stay in business.
