USFCR is THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL company in the Federal State and Local Contracting consultant space. They take no accountability in their short comings and make excuses. If I could give zero stars I would. I will say the salesman was very personable, and a few others on their team were very nice and knowledgeable in their roles, however, when it came down to it, they did not listen to my needs and what I needed for my company. They sold me a product that I do not need. I am already registered for SAM. I already have my WBENC, WOSB, SB, and SDB. Shawn Smeltz, the Vice President of USFCR, spoke to me like I and my company do not matter, as though I am unintelligent, and makes a point to let you know that losing your business does not matter, nor do your affiliate referrals matter because of their 114,000 other clients. Needless to say my refund is being processed after a week in a half of being strung along waiting for answers. The VP got his gratification by hanging up on me letting me know that I can go get services from their competitors when I asked the real and difficult questions when it came to friendly competition and how we would best handle contract writing when they have multiple clients bidding in the same space, and how they would handle referrals and if I would get the scraps of what was left if they can't help me with proposal writing because they are writing for another client on the same bid (which I respect that last part and not competing against their own clients). I needed to know how they will handle helping me with the technical questions that I needed to answer because I do need their help since part of what I had purchased was their VMS, and I needed the info ASAP. He kept telling me you have to do the training and answer them yourself. I could not get through to him that I needed his legal team to review and assure that all technical parameters were met. He keeps talking down to me to tell me go to the training and even went so low to try to reduce my integrity because I missed a voicemail the day prior when I expressed my lack of satisfaction. NOTHING WAS EXPLAINED. HOW WOULD I KNOW that I had to self-teach myself on their VMS???? HOW WOULD I KNOW THEY WILL NOT STAND BEHIND ALL OF THEIR CLIENTS when it comes to what we need to win our contracts even mutual ones when it comes to the technical components that will not impact the bones of the proposal??? I will never do business with USFCR or their affiliates. Perhaps I may be shooting myself in foot because, again, Shawn Smeltz, VP repeatedly let me know he wasn't concerned about losing me or my referrals to their company because they have 114,000 clients, but, in his terms, "I'm not trying to being rude." If you have to say that then...well, you already know you are being rude and condescending. When I asked to speak with the CEO/President of the company, he assured me that he (CEO) was not available to speak. Apparently, there is no mending the fence with this company even if I wanted to try to save a lost relationship. The only reason I would have even tried is because of trying to support associate companies competing in the same space to not impose on my business or theirs to try to reach an amicable, respectable resolution, so I can feel like my indirect money going to them via affiliates is respected and appreciated because our company WINS contacts and builds relationships. We are well respected which is proven by our hard work and dedication to what we do. Unfortunately, we have fallen victim to their lack of professionalism of USFCR and so have other companies that wish to business with because we will not affiliate with them, because like Shawn Smeltz, VP, USFCR said, "It's never going to happen." Blows my mind they have 4 plus stars. I am glad for all of you that have had positive experiences and truly very glad they could help you. Unfortunately, this is only part of what lead me and only pieces of this horrific experience and hope no one ever experiences what I did with USFCR.
