As a service provider for uShip for over a decade, we have run into numerous frustrating experiences with uShip that leave both the customer and the carrier with a bad taste. Not only are you paying ~20% service fee to accept the bid as an end-user client, but they also double-charge the carrier the same fee on our back end, and then provide ZERO actual support, insurance, coverage or peace of mind. They continually allow illegal double-triple brokering and carriers without coverage, brokers without bond, and continually defend these malicious 'companies' and fraudsters while handicapping their carriers.
