New connections trauma!Having had problems trying to get meters fitted since Scottish Power no longer fit them when they connect you to the grid.Every company we contacted to get prices from said in a "parrot fashion" - We do not supply meters you have to go to one of the 'Big Six' to get your meter and then change to another supplier.After many phone calls British Gas was the quickest (only 4 weeks) They came and fitted 2 meters in 2 houses after having had to be persuaded that we needed 3 phase meters, as we had 3 phase pumps for our heating. The third connection was classified as "business" (different department!) and took another month. now that we have meters we looked for a supplier and found Megan who was very helpful and fun. She was tireless in persuading me to make my mind up!I eventually did and I think we have now a supplier for the next 2 years - I think?Thank you Megan
