I am currently waiting for a decision on a remand that was due in late August 2024. Being homeless and over 75 provides some assistance, but it’s frustrating that it’s taking so long for the office to process everything. My mental health team has been a crucial support for me, and despite my experiences as a MST survivor and a Vietnam veteran, I still hold love for my country and feel honored for my service.
