Our trip to Los Suenos Costa Rica was amazing! The whole family thought it was the best vacation we have ever taken. Costa Rica is a beautiful country with so much to see. The people are very friendly. Los Suenos is a beautiful resort with a lot of amenities: fishing, golfing, pools, restaurants. Anything you could ask for.The only downside is the beach area. It's not really a great lounging/swimming beach area. The water is very calm, but the sand is volcanic and more like mud than sand. There was no path to the beach from the resort either. Outside of the resort there was better beach access.We stayed in the DelMar condos which were very nice and spacious. We did not do any cooking ourselves, but the kitchen was stocked with necessities. We got the breakfast service which had them cooking us a nice breakfast every morning at our agreed upon time. The food was good and they had something new to go with the eggs, toast, and fruit every day. The golf cart rental is a must. It's about 1 mile to walk to the beach club and marina area so not too far, but more that I would want to do on a regular basis on vacation. You can use the golf cart outside of the resort too to go to a grocery store or nearby restaurants.The excursions were great. We fished, ziplined, and took an ATV tour. All were great. Just make sure you confirm pickup and departure times and locations.
