I will absolutely use VakayMood again for any vacation or trip possible.VakayMood got us a one-week stay in Lake Tahoe at a timeshare-quality resort with tons of amenities for the same price we would have paid for a shack with zero amenities. And to clarify, using VakayMood, we got to choose a resort that is a timeshare resort (The Ridge in Heavenly Valley), without having to buy or invest in a timeshare. We were simply renting it for the week from a timeshare owner who couldn't use their allotted time with VakayMood as the middle-man.That's what VakayMood does. They connect unused timeshare vacation availability with anyone interested in renting it for the week or whatever time they choose that's available for a discounted price. We paid a flat rate, out-the-door of $1200 (everything included) for the whole week, where going directly through the resort, we would have paid about $2300 + taxes + resort fees of $350-$500. There were no resort fees for us when booking through VakayMood.VakayMood only teams up with resorts that are highly rated, which is another piece of mind when using there services. My wife and I spent a couple days just staying at the resort, because it was so nice with pools, hot tubs, mini-golf, guided hikes, tennis, shuffle board, golf driving net, a game room, billiards, ping pong, and a few other things we ran out of time for. We were there in the summer but in the winter, the ski resort is also a huge plus of being in the middle of Heavenly Valley Ski Resort at the top of the mountain with lift access walking (or skiing) distance away. The restaurants were great, and the resort staff were super accommodating and friendly. They gave us ideas of places to visit in and around Lake Tahoe and Heavenly Village. There were free shuttles into town and back, daily, from the resort which was a big savings on Ubering if we wanted to drink or just simply not have to deal with parking in Heavenly Village (which can be expensive). The resort even offered delivery of a DVD player to our room with choice of 1000's of movies. We had a full kitchen so we cooked many meals at "home". Oh and our view was outstanding! We looked out from the top of the mountain in Heavenly with pine trees everywhere and in the distance was Carson Valley.We would have never stayed at this amazing resort without VakayMood connecting us to it and making it an affordable vacation within our budget.
