Unfortunately, the expected results never came, and when she inquired about a partial refund, the discussion took a troubling turn. Instead of addressing her concerns in a professional manner, the therapist referred to personal vulnerabilities shared in previous sessions, using them to criticize her and labeling her as 'unlovable' among other negative remarks. Much of the time was spent on the therapist discussing her own life difficulties rather than focusing on my friend's therapeutic goals. Given these experiences, I found the treatment to be not only ineffective but also inappropriate and emotionally distressing. I would recommend potential clients to carefully evaluate whether this therapist's approach suits their needs before committing to a full set of sessions.
