The merits assessment is useful too- but i would do this after the preliminary hearing. I worked with an advisor called James for nearly a year. He was wonderful! Patient, calm, reassuring and very knowledgeable. Every time we spoke I felt empowered and less stressed. His advice and guidance - specifically throughout the without prejudice discussions (a process I found very tricky) - was crucial. I successfully settled 3 months before tribunal with terms I was happy with. This was partly down to James sage advice and encouragement to not back down. I am very grateful. Communication with Jade was always excellent and quick. The platform is easy to use and it helps you build a timeline for your case and upload essential documents. Once I built my timeline I could refer back to it whenever I needed to refresh my memory. Your valla coaches also use your timeline during consultations and calls. Super useful! Additionally, if you follow Valla on TikTok and YouTube, they post interesting conversations with tribunal experts and litigants. They also host free online webinars - just sign up via their website. All in all- I highly recommend Valla if you are a litigant in person!
