Update 12 Oct 2025 - after a number of emails back and forth, Stephan (who did the sales package for us) rang me to confirm that I was correct in what I was stating and it was his error in not processing the final bit of the order. He confirmed that the outstanding part of my order was now processed and I would be receiving it. It is now nearly 6 weeks since that conversation and I have NOT received it!Original Complaint - Vanity Studios had a stand at the Move-it dance convention & sold us a package. However, they did not tell us there would be extra costs for booking the photoshoot & that they don't provide details of their packages until you are ready to buy. It is all done under a pressurised sales technique. They get good reviews by offering a free photo. Whilst some of the experience was good it was spoiled by a number of factors. We were told the experience would take 3 hours... we were there for over 5 hours and over half of that time waiting around. You are forced to sit down with someone and go through the photos one by one. We asked if we could view them a different way as we had a very long journey ahead of us. We didn't get to leave until after 8pm. We were offered a deal on a package as a gesture of goodwill due to the inconvenience we had experienced but after part of our order not arriving I chased them.... to find it was revoked and we were asked to pay more money! This will not be happening! I would recommend NOT using this company due to the way they conduct their business, high pressurised sales techniques... they simply cannot be trusted!
