The concept is good, but unfortunately it has its flaws and can cost the seller of a car a lot of money.I have a Jeep Cherokee and though it’s MOT history the mileage goes up the same within reason every year. However I year it adds 80,000 miles to the mileage which at the time I didn’t notice and you only get 24 hours to let the MOT station know there is an issue. But there are no alarm bell at vehicle score that would say would someone spend £25k in on year putting fuel in this car to drive it an extra 80,000 miles , when in fact some how the reading had been switched to kilometres and working out the mileage amount would put it spot on to the average. None of which is vehicle scores fault but it might just stop you buying a really good well maintained car.
