We stayed at the Vermont, and I found it to be quite a pleasant experience, room was clean, bed was comfortable, my only gripe was the check in , it was more like a Spanish Inquisition the only thing missing was a spot light shone in your face, we booked a I’ll pay for the room give me the key and where done , but 15 questions late ,and ten minutes of standing there answering them , made it very tedious. Breakfast was ok . View was good looking over the Tyne . So 4 stars from us thanks Vermont.
