Afternoon Trash! (Tea). Very Poor. Avoid. Do not waste your money. You’d have a nicer meal at greggs! I would award zero stars if this was available. Worst meal I’ve ever been served in my life! I’m allergic to Dairy and Egg products. I eat meat and fish and normal bread. I’m not vegan and I’m not gluten free.I was served 3 eights of a sandwich! This was not even a full slice of bread! So this was 3 halves of a quarter triangle of bread! I have pictures if I can upload them. The fillings included hummus and chick peas. Beetroot. Carrot and onion.The bread was rock hard and looked like they were left overs. I asked the lovely member of staff if they were a joke and edible! He replied that he could not accommodate my individual dietary requirements and they had to ensure that they provided all the people with dietary requirements the same sandwiches. That it was gluten free bread with vegan fillings. He told me this was the only option due to my allergies! I again reiterated I’m not gluten free or vegan and would like normal sized salmon sandwich and ham sandwich like the other people having afternoon tea. Something edible and substantial. Not 3/4 of a slice of bread with half a teaspoon of filling (I’m not exaggerating). I did not eat these 3 mouthfuls of inedible vegan gluten free bites. The middle plate included 2 dry fruit scones served with a jar of jam. No vegan spread or vegan cream (these are available in most supermarkets). These again were inedible. I did not eat these. The cakes looked ok and the only possible edible part of the afternoon tea. However they tasted disgusting and quality was very poor. I tasted these but again did not eat them. Again inedible! Not to mention the cold tea and coffee. (Best part of the afternoon tea even though cold). Left starving and very disappointed. First time I’ve ever been for afternoon tea. Probably the last. Save yourself the money and disappointment! Just go to greggs.
