My experience with Vida Select has been mostly positive, but I wouldn’t really recommend it for anyone under 30 — especially early 20s like me (I’m 24).The team itself has been great. My matchmaker, Francesca, actually found several profiles that fit what I’m looking for, and the writers handled messaging super well. No shade to them at all — they did their part. The issue is just dating app culture for people my age. My profiles went live about three weeks ago, and I’ve gotten a ton of matches — like genuinely top-tier Hinge performance for Chicago. But converting those matches into real dates has been rough. I’ve only had one date, she showed up 20 minutes late, and it wasn’t a great match. Another date canceled the night before, so I had to scrap the dinner reservation. So if you’re in your early–mid 20s, have high standards, and want something serious, Vida might not feel worth it just because dating in this age bracket is chaotic no matter how good your profile looks. I think their service shines more for older age groups where follow-through is more consistent.Overall: solid company, great staff — just not the best fit for younger people dealing with all the flakiness that comes with app-based dating right now.
