She explained that my original matchmaker was new in her role and that there were very limited suitable matches available at that time. While my matchmaker didn’t make any recommendations to enhance my profile—which I was fine with—my first match was quite surprising and disappointing. He was 23 years older than me, even though I clearly indicated a preferred age range of seven years above or below my age. He also follows a religious belief system very different from mine, which made me question whether my preferences were fully considered.I reached out to my matchmaker to share these concerns, and although she promised to call me back, I haven’t heard back yet. This lack of follow-up has been frustrating, as I expected a more personalized and attentive experience.I’m currently considering canceling the service, but I may give it one more chance given some of the positive reviews I’ve read. I’m still hopeful that Vida can provide a more thoughtful and tailored approach moving forward.
