We had no heating and hot water and kept waiting for the engineer for an entire day. He showed shortly after 5pm, rang the intercom for literally two seconds and ran away. We were right next to the front door so answered the door immediately but there was no sound. Went to look outside and saw the guy already in his van starting to reverse. We yelled 'hello' to get his attention, which we did - he looked up from his window and said 'I'm coming back'. Did he come back? Well of course not. 5pm so time to clock out, doesn't matter if people are freezing. We called the office and got attitude from two different people, telling us that we can wash our hands in freezing cold water, as if this was a normal thing. They sounded so unimpressed and unbothered by the fact that people might want heating in the middle of January, and hot water to shower, wash their hands, do dishes etc. A different engineer did attend the following day and he was nice, so no complaints there. But the overall attitude from the rest of the staff was honestly quite upsetting.
