Had a great flight pm from Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire. Flew for about 45 minutes, covering about 5 miles. The whole experience took about 3 hours, including the inflation and deflation of the balloon. It's a hands on experience, so be prepared to get physical and help unpack and stow the equipment, but it all adds to the experience. Great pilot and guide, very friendly and patient, which I guess piloting a wind-propelled vehicle teaches you. We flew about 300 feet up, allowing for good views and close ups of down below. A stunning trip to tick off the bucket list. Shared the balloon with a great crowd and had a welcomed drink afterwards. After trying to book the experience about 5 times before hand, I was surprised to hear this flight was actually on. When you get go ahead, you get those butterflies, hot footing it over to the launch site. Take off is still not guaranteed at that point, so it may still get cancelled at this 11th hour, so be prepared to go home disappointed, but rest assured the team will get you up if conditions allow. Had a great trip which I would defo do again if the opportunity presents. Looking forward to my next experience. Thanks team.
