I’m giving Vista Wine & Spirits two stars because they carry a solid selection, including the Clonakilty Whiskey I was looking for, but the customer service is incredibly rigid and unhelpful.The Issue:After ordering a premium bottle, I realized the apartment number was missing from the shipping address. I immediately sent an email to correct the mistake before the delivery went out.The Response:I received an email back from Fin, who flatly stated that adding an apartment number "wasn't possible" now that the order was placed. This felt like a complete lack of effort. If the order is out for delivery, does the driver not have a cell phone? It’s a simple piece of information that could be relayed in seconds to ensure a high-end purchase doesn't end up lost or returned.Summary: For a shop selling high-end spirits, the "computer says no" attitude over email is frustrating. Buying a premium bottle of Clonakilty should come with at least a basic attempt at customer support. I’ll be sourcing my whiskey from shops that prioritize successful delivery over easy excuses in the future.
