About 5 or 6 years ago, I canceled my subscription because I found it to be not very useful. Then the company charged me nearly $300 for a new subscription, claiming that I had never canceled and that their price had changed from the $99 subscription price. They refused to refund me, but using my credit card company for help, they finally agreed to let me ship back the supply and request a refund. After which, in order to make sure I would never be charged again, I requested my profile, account, and all information to be wiped from their system.
I STILL receive emails from them, even after requesting to be wiped, unsubscribing from emails, and having Gmail request that I be unsubscribed. Clearly, they have not removed my information from their database. Spammy and unethical business practices.
