So far, these are great! They obviously take a little getting used to, but once you're up to full speed, you don't really notice they are there. I was skeptical with a stiff insert, though I use them in my cycling shoes, never running shoes though. Due to the heat, I've run with them mainly on the treadmill with structured workouts. I was, however, able to run outside with them once and I do think they helped. I ran my first mile 45 seconds faster at my usual effort. Coincidence? I don't know. I'll have to see how it goes when it's not so freakin' hot out. So far so good. I'm using these in Saucony Endorphin Speed 2 shoes and Brooks Glycerin 19.
