Don’t waste your time or money with VRSF. I used to really want to have their products but they will not offer one ounce of help and will stop communicating even if you receive a defective product. I bought 2 chargepipes (I own 2 N54’s), a 7.5” front mount intercooler, downpipes, and full street exhaust with the 3.5 tubing straight back to the muffler. I had a shop install the downpipes and exhaust. The exhaust driver exhaust tip was centered and the passenger one was angle up and touching my bumper. I thought that maybe the installer didn’t clamp the tips on correctly. I took it back and they tried to straighten. I tried myself as well. The fitment is so tight that there is no room for error or adjustment. I took the muffler off and it was clear that the pipe coming out from each side of the exhaust was not welded correctly from the manufacturer. Its a China rebadged exhaust basically. I showed them pics and video of how it was incorrectly welded and they told me that it was sitting this way due to not installing the differential mount. They did not include it so I could not install one. I asked for a new one and even offered to buy one just to take out the possibility of the installer losing it. No response. I ended up getting a VRSF differential mount from someone who had an extra one. This did not salve the problem, as I knew it wouldn’t. My car has ever been in an accident and the exhaust hangers were not bent and were in tact. I had an exhaust shop look at the muffler and they also confirmed that the pipe was welded off center. I wrote many emails to VRSF. They communicated a few times and placed blame on the diff mount over and over again. I asked to have the muffler exchanged and they stopped communicating. I emailed several times because they don’t have a phone number of course. I spoke to many people on BMW Forums that have also had fitment and customer support issues. One person didn’t even receive the exhaust tips and they refused to send new ones and did ended communication. They DO NOT care once they have your money and ship out poorly manufactured items. They do not take pride or ownership over their brand and are not loyal to their customers. I spent over $1700 with them and they didn’t care to respond. I was going to buy the race exhaust to swap out the street muffler and not I will not. I was also going to finish the setup with my other N54 and also buy an intercooler, downpipes, full exhaust, and dual cone filters for both cars. I decided to purchase another setup for my other car and fitment is 100% and actually sounds cleaner and performs very well. Possibly better. I will be getting rid of their junk and changing my setup. I’m glad that I have a lot of friends in the N54 community and shared my story with them at meets. I told them to make their own decisions with the facts that I have given them with my experience and they have made their decisions to purchase elsewhere. I saved many people from going through the same poor experience.
