We had our gender scan on 31st January and it was brilliant.We booked a private scan so that our 11 year old daughter could come and see her little sibling too. We had decided that, if we were allowed, then only our daughter would be told the gender and she could then reveal to us at home.When we told them this at VR Baby Scans the receptionist and sonographer were thrilled to go along with this!The sonographer was lovely and told my husband and I to look away at certain points so we didn't accidentally see the gender on screen. Baby had their legs crossed for a while but the sonographer persisted and managed to get a look finally.My daughter was over the moon to see baby moving around and waving - it made it so real for her finally!After the scan my daughter stayed behined in the room and was told the news - she emerged excited but kept the secret until later that day when she revealed she was to get a little baby sister 🥰Thank you so much to the staff at VR Baby Scans for making the whole experience so lovely for the whole family.
