Brought a new vw golf r 2018 model,fantastic vehicle to drive and appreciate all the gauges.on second service ,replace water pump thermostat.all good drive for another 40.000 km and another water pump need to be replaced with the costs of $2100 .question I need a pump every 40.000 kms ?this vehicle been serviced buy vw (Australia) and off course was out off warranty (3years) than also a quote $700 for a new battery…really vw don’t come to help or interested.I like and I want people to know this is a problem with vw .ashamed a nice car as is it needs 2 water pumps.I’m less than 5 years.
