I had a very frustrating experience with World2Fly and their customer service.
On February 2nd, I contacted the airline to request a change for my ticket scheduled for March 23rd. I reached out well in advance and expected a response from their support team, but I never received any reply.
When I contacted them again later (around 20 days before the flight), the agent suddenly informed me that I had to pay a $150 penalty to change the ticket.
The issue is that I had already contacted them weeks earlier. I even sent screenshots showing my original message from February 2nd, but the agent ignored this information and continued sending generic responses without addressing the timeline or the fact that I had contacted them earlier.
What made the situation even more confusing is that when I was boarding a World2Fly flight in Madrid, airline staff told me that ticket changes could be made without any penalty. However, customer support insisted that the $150 fee was mandatory.
Overall, the experience felt extremely unprofessional. There was no real effort to understand the situation or resolve it fairly, and the responses felt automated rather than genuinely helpful.
Because of this experience, I have lost trust in this airline and their customer service. I would strongly advise travelers to think carefully before booking if they may need support or changes to their reservation.
