I recently met Wade Caves at the 2025 Northwestern Astrological Conference. (Norwac) I attended his "Meeting the Moment, with Horary Astrology," all day workshop that was offered on that following Monday, after Norwac. I quickly recognized that he was incredibly knowledgable, and an exceptional scholar about the history of Astrology, as well as Astrology as a Divination practice. His passion about his work is inspirational and elevating, as an astrology student. As a 3-4 year self studied student, I learned so much from him in the short amount of time of his workshop. He is a charismatic and captivating speaker, quite witty in his personality style, and most importantly his teaching applications are easy to follow along and understand. He took time to answer questions as they came along and he genuinely cared about our class grasping the material. After all, he is a seasoned instructor with the School of Traditional Astrology (STA) Teaching seems to be very natural to him, and he is indeed gifted as an educator. I intend to continue to learn from him in my astrological studies.When I found out that Wade offered private consultations, as well as mentorship, I knew I had been drawn to him for a reason... I had a longstanding, personal and sensitive matter, that I wanted to better understand through the lens of astrology. I booked a Horary-Mentorship appointment with him, immediately at his first availability.During our appointment, he was patient, caring and kind. He momentarily soothed me when I become emotional and got choked up at the sensitive subject matter. Wade told me not to rush, and offered me a few minutes so that I could truly take a moment to just breathe. That gesture afforded me the space to collect myself, so I could communicate and move forward in the session. Giving me that space and compassion was extremely heartwarming to me, and deeply touched my spirit. His approach and demeanor during my appointment with him is something I truly admire in anyone doing this sort of Divination or Spiritual led profession. He is a fantastic Astrologer, an extraordinary teacher, and an endearing counselor/coach. I plan to return very soon for more Horary appointments, his classes, as well as his mentorship offerings.
