There's something to say , when you can say that your the biggest retailer In the world ...or maybe they have the biggest trucking fleet in the world....regardless they are doing something right . .
To those accolades I can not attest ....
But I can tell you what they're doing wrong , and that's basically everything on walmart.com and their mobile app .
From hidden fees despite paying for a yearly subscription to Walmart + , to prices changing mid order once it's recognized a buying trend .
To the most recent of walmarts online campaign of self destruction . Refunds and canceled orders.
2 weeks ago I place an order once I got home from Walmart there were 3 items I placed back on the shelf and then after much internal term oil I decided to place the order once getting home.
I live about 10 mins from my local WM ..so it's not too far or out the way at all.
I placed the order ..everything with that was smooth , it assigns a shopper ...
Lemme pause here . After several bad Experiances I've no longer included any tip in the divers initial pay and under " notes to driver " I always put that a better tip awaits them in cash upon arrival of my items , I marked hand them to me , that was they should expect to see me to get the 4 digit pin code at dropoff. And I usually aleays pay like 10$ cash instead of the 3.15 they would have made in app...so I see win win
On this day I supposed the driver may have not been able to read English , didn't read it at all or what the issue was but IMEDIATLY upon assigning the driver it says your driver has canceled the order and under reasoning it's marked low stock,/ item unavailable .
Now let's rewind ...I just got back from Walmart...those items are FOR SURE available i know for 100 certain ...unless someone had raided aquafresh toothpaste , dog food and some cleaning wipes ...all at once ...then they Are def there .
So I got in the car drive to the store for my items . Got them, processed to register to check out and DECLINDED. There should be like 100 bucks on this card ....
Upon looking ..walmart had not olny taken MORE then the original total..., they had not refunded anything .
And over the course of the next 2 days refund most of my money .....in 5 seperate transactions

With about 17 bucks still unaccounted for nearly 12 days later...CS telling me it might take up to 30 days for funds to be fully refunded . I'm sorry but that's just bull crap with tech and data speeds and ai ...we cant get our money that's instantly taken....instantly returned?
I feel like the seperate transactions are so most people see it, say look at that...don't wanna add em up ..and never say anything...Walmart slayin us in unrefuted, refunds .
Since that purchase ,2 more have been canceled with zero of either one returned as of yet....
Starting to feel like I'm getting fleeced over here . Walmart.....cann I get my money back or what !?!?!?
