My 79 yr old mum (who we are currently obtaining an LPA for) had yet another cold call from this company. A few months ago they inspected her loft and quoted £6k to put foil on the interior roof and took £600 deposit. My sister and I phoned and emailed and it took 7 weeks before she got it back. Today, (another cold call) a surveyor came round and inspected the loft insulation and and did a damp test on the walls outside (the bleep test obviously went mad as we'd just had a storm!) so they told her she needs the walls sprayed with a projection and started at a price of £4+k and came down to £3200 when she said she couldn't afford it so he said he could do it at the summer price! He did ask if she had an LPA and she said no but this is no excuse. They are obviously targeting old people and to come back twice makes me wonder how much money they are getting out of the ones with no family to watch out for them. Awful company. I've asked they remove my mum's number.
