If I could give zero stars, I would. Warner Solutions preyed on my elderly, vulnerable, and disabled mother by cold-calling her and offering a “free loft check.” Upon arrival, they were friendly at first, saw my even older, wheelchair-bound stepdad, then went up to inspect the loft. They came down with photos of black mould—later found to be fake pictures—and used scare tactics to pressure her into agreeing to insulation work.They rushed her into paying a £1,200 deposit for a £4,700 job, completely disregarding her legal right to a 14-day cancellation period. Within just two days, they claimed they had materials ready and tried to force her into going through with it. When I stepped in to cancel, their receptionist was rude, dismissive, and insisted she had no authority to stop the work. Despite me making it very clear that my mother was confused, upset, and did not want the work done, a man still called her to intimidate her into proceeding.Only when I threatened police action did they finally agree to refund the deposit. This company is nothing short of predatory, unethical, and exploitative—preying on elderly and vulnerable people with aggressive sales tactics and blatant lies. Avoid them at all costs.Left a google review on behalf of my mum, she received a call the following day threatening legal action against me for defamation of their business.
