Had a Warrens voucher for £1 off a Cornish Pasty so went into their shop in Wellington Somerset at lunchtime today to purchase one for the first time as I love pasties. The price was £3.45 less £1 discount with the voucher which I thought was a bit steep for a warm pasty.Quite honestly this was probably the worst pasty that I have tasted, the contents were dry, the meat was stuck together in lumps, I would even suggest that this was a reheated leftover from the previous day it was that bad. I am 70 years old and eaten thousands of pasties in my lifetime, I ate less than half of the Warrens Pasty, I am sure that my Border Collie won't be as fussy as me with what is left, Try a Ginsters for around a £1 each at Asda, that's a proper Pasty.
