I first contacted Was Gathering Dust on whats app with photos to see if my items would be of interest. I received a reply to say we will do our best for you. I sent various items of vintage and costume jewellery which included quite a few unusual brooches. I received a message after a few days to say that their valuers could not make me an offer as all of the items have been well loved and there is little resale value for them. I have since sent them to another vintage company who have given me an offer that is very fair and said that some of the pieces will be of interest to theatrical companies.A disappointing experience and a waste of time!
