Shocking!
A routine service lead to water ingress into my Omega Seamaster after 20 months, for the first time in 30 years of ownership. WF accepted to rectify the issue under its 24 month warranty. However, the repair took over two months.
Within days of return the date mechanism developed a fault and intermittently failed to change at midnight. By now the 24 month warranty had expired and WF were very reluctant to agree to repair it under warranty, despite it clearly being a direct result of their repair.
The repair was eventually accepted and carried out, but upon return the date mechanism is now completely broken and not working at all.
Visit 1 Service - leaking case
Visit 2 Repair no 1 - intermittent date fault
Visit no 3 Repair no 2 - date mechanism completely broken.
Watch at WF on 3 occasions and 100% failure.
And what is WF position?
-dear customer, did you break it by trying to adjust the date at midnight? Because that would make it your fault.
Hard to trust WF to repair it after 3 botched attempts but deeply frustrating to have pay to get damage done by an Omega Approved Service Cntr repaired elsewhere.
