My sales experience was pretty easy, however, I wanted to purchase another watch and they will only honor a trade in price if the watch you are buying is more expensive than the trade in. They will give you an additional premium on their offer when a trade is selected and you choose a more expensive model. After sending my watch in, the offer came back -$250 less than the original offer due to a “reconditioning fee” which seemed excessive. The watch I sold had only been worn a handful of times with very minor surface scratches and is less than a year old. The set was complete with all accessories, paperwork, and packaging. This was disappointing, however I proceeded with the transaction out of convenience. To note, the offer I received from Watchfinder & Co. still came up better than the competitor websites I also received quotes from.I made a separate purchase for another, less expensive watch due to not being able to trade it in. I am extremely pleased with the watch and reconditioning of the piece. I took the watch to my local Cartier boutique to purchase the additional strap. While there, my client advisor and the team were in awe of how beautifully reconditioned the watch was. It looks almost new. I’m also happy with the price I paid, the watch arrived overnight and securely packaged, and includes a 24 month warranty and official Cartier pre-owned warranty card which can be used directly through Cartier. The watch also came with all new Cartier packaging. Communication was also quick and transparent.Overall, I would highly recommend Watchfinder & Co. for a pre-owned watch purchase, and they have a great selection of discontinued models. I will definitely purchase from them again and I’m looking forward to the next addition to my growing watch collection.
