Horrible company to deal with from start to finish. I waited many months to get my new water connection. I was told that after I paid the fee I would need to wait 16 weeks. I waited nearly 24 weeks and spent weeks been told that the work was with a contractor and not with irish water. Basically just passing me off between the 2 for weeks without giving me any date when the connection would be done.I then told Irish water i wanted to make a complaint and got a call from the complaints manager. She told me that I had received a call from her colleague with a connection date, which I had not. She was very confused and told me she would review the matter and mail me back. In the meantime to my surprise I got connected? No notice or update from irish water that they were coming out. Then a few days later I got an email from the confused complaints manager stating that I would have to make do with a connection date in the future. I had a good laugh when I got that mail as I was already connected. This company does not know its ass from its elbow.
