I recently finished the Tour du Mont Blanc, and honestly, I’m still amazed that I actually did it. As someone totally new to multi-day hiking, I showed up pretty nervous, but our tour leader, Khai, made all the difference.
From the very first day, she made me feel comfortable and supported. Khai has this calm, positive energy that instantly puts you at ease, and she was always checking in to make sure I was doing okay. She explained what to expect each day in a way that made the big climbs feel manageable, and she somehow managed to make even the tough moments fun.
What could have been overwhelming ended up being one of the best experiences of my life, and that’s really thanks to her. The scenery was incredible, but hiking it with someone as kind, knowledgeable, and encouraging as Khai is what made it unforgettable.
If you’re considering the TMB and you’re new to hiking, I honestly couldn’t recommend this company and Khai more.
